In short, the class will get you ready to take part in reviewing, understanding, designing and building a community development project. This course is designed to give students a baseline of the multi-disciplinary approach to community development, being able to process procedural and programmatic ideas and models, able to verbally discuss, analyze, and present ideas to community groups, and make entry level recommendations on steps to creating a more sustainable and cohesive local impact.
