Assignment Description
Applying your understanding of the theories covered in the lecturers, seminars and your own research you are required to write a report which focuses on the following:

This is a lit review. You are required to critically analyse journal papers using the template that I will be in the files please use this template for the whole assignment this also has some extra info on it. The review should compare themes in operations management on project management. 15 articles/ journal papers on project management and 15 on operations management. I will also provide an example to look at as well. The theme is Ethics aka ethics within PM and OM.

• Stage 2 (1500 words)
Carry out a search of reputable news articles and reports to find examples/cases of project successes and failures. Through your search, you are required to identify common themes and their implications of success and failure in each case. You should identify why projects fail and succeed and explain the significance of operations in these projects. There’s more info on the template. These could be buildings that were built, apple products that never launched or a product like google smart glasses were there problems, theres more info on the template
• Stage 3 (1000 words)
Based on your experience of running the project (cake sale) your project team you should reflect on the experience you had of running the project with your group members. You should highlight what happened, why did it happen (is there any research that might have deepened your experience), what your experience was, and what you would do differently when/if it were to happen again. It is recommended that you adopt reflection models and frameworks to support your report (for example, David Kolb’s experiential learning model). What went wrong whst went better, project magment styles which could be better will add info about my project on template.
All three aspects of this assessment are marked and intertwined. The report weighs 100% of the overall module mark.
