Hamlet Venn Diagram
You have been using the resources of Act One to gather information about Hamlet, Fortinbras, Ophelia and Laertes. From your knowledge of what the play is about, describe in point form the similarities and differences between Hamlet’s and young Fortinbras’ circumstances, between Hamlet’s and Laertes’ circumstances, and between Hamlet’s’ and Ophelia’s’ circumstances. One way to do this is through the use of a Venn Diagram. At this point, you should be able to come up with about 12 points related to each character: at least 6 circumstances unique to that character and 6 points/circumstances that they share with another character.
