This is classmate’s response:

Ethical dilemmas that would exist with the introduction of technologies such as telehealth and artificial intelligence (AI) in health care include privacy and security issues as patients may feel they are being spied on or their medical records are comprised due to data breaches. I believe AI will enhance medicine as it can provide more precision with medical procedures, assist with research development as well as data analytics. According to Health IT Analytics (2018) AI can automating some of the routine tasks that take up a physician’s time, such as EHR documentation, administrative reporting, or even triaging CT scans. Physicians and other medical professionals will have more time to focus on delivery of quality healthcare treatment. AI minimizes human error providing more detailed, faster, and precise data and research, which helps facilities and organizations to make informed decisions about establishing programs, staff, and/or finances as well as physicians and patients about the diagnosis and the best treatment options. Ultimately, building trust, enhancing communication, and improving physician patient relationships.
