Determine how the WWPD may need to be revised following the feasibility study and process evaluation (papers under review) and your literature review.

I propose that you base the application on something similar to the research designs used in example of Diabetes Manual RCT. I have attached both the trial protocol paper and the RCT results paper. This trial is a cluster RCT and you will not do that, you will use an individually randomised RCT design  The outcomes will also be different and informed by the abstracts (1 and 2) that I have attached.
I suggest a phased research proposal for my doctoral studies
Stage 1: a systematic literature review – not exactly sure what the question will be but something around midlife women’s health needs living with type 2.
Stage 2: Stakeholder consultation to determine how the WWPD may need to be revised following the feasibility study and process evaluation (papers under review) and your literature review.
Stage 3: A definitive RCT comparing the WWDP with a waiting list control group (as described in the Diabetes manual papers). I suggest that you recruit from both within the NHS and via external charities and social media.
