Carry out a survey, both indoors and around the outside perimeter of the house, apartment building, or dormitory in which you are living, to determine whether your residence has any kind of pest infestation problem (e.g., rodents, cockroaches, stored food pests, flies, mosquitoes, etc.). Bearing in mind the importance of good housekeeping practices to minimize food, water, and harborage, as well as structural features that “build pests out,” list as many potential or actual problem areas as you can find and indicate how principles of good sanitation could be applied to eliminate or prevent infestations. NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HANDLE ANY ANIMALS
Provide a 2-3 page (double spaced) report with 2-3 photographs of the areas and/or problems you assessed.
