RESEARCH PROPOSAL : In 2-3 pages (typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. font, 1-inch margins), explain what your topic is(be specific and give necessary details, give time frames, etc.), how you plan to go about doing the research on your topic(name specific books and/or websites you plan to use), and explain why you picked your topic (why is the topic relevant?). The range of sources you use will factor into your grade. In other words, you’ll score more points if you show that you’ve looked at books, essays, journals and primary sources than you will if you use web sources alone.
The topic is atomic bomb and the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I′d ideally like Information on the research/testing and building of the bomb, the military preparation for bombing and the actual bombing, the result it had on WWII, the effect it had on the Japanese people and other surrounding areas, and the consequences that are being dealt with today because of the bombing (such as cancer, pollution, birth defects etc.)
