Develop one or more Idea Development Project(s) into an essay or analyze a work or works that have been studied in this class thus far. Please carefully review the syllabus, instructions, and grading rubric attached.
INSTRUCTIONS
Write an essay of about 2500 words on a topic from eras listed below. Six scholarly sources are required for this essay, and the essay must have clear, cogent arguments, evidentiary support of arguments, focused analysis, correct documentation, and excellent writing skills. The work(s) must be taken from any of the following periods:
• Slavery and Freedom (1746-1865)
• Reconstruction to New Negro Renaissance (1865-1919)
• Harlem Renaissance (1919-1940)
