Choose one of the leadership theories presented in Chapter 2 of your textbook. Write a scholarly argument in which you explore the history and development of the theory, and implications for practice and application

Students will choose between 2 paper options.

Option 1: Choose a book on leadership. Write a paper in which you consider the nature of leadership, the significance of the concepts presented in the book, and implications for practice and application. Your paper should also include a discussion on which leadership theories (review Ch. 2 of your text) are represented in the book you chose. You must receive permission from me for your book choice. Be sure to submit your choice early (via email). I can also offer suggestions. The paper should be written as a scholarly argument, not a personal reflection on the book’s topic or author.

Option 2: Choose one of the leadership theories presented in Chapter 2 of your textbook. Write a scholarly argument in which you explore the history and development of the theory, and implications for practice and application

All papers must be in APA 7th edition format. For assistance with APA, visit the Style and Grammar guidelines section of the APA official website:

Papers must be 6-9 pages in length, not including the title page, abstract, and references pages.

Papers should be in Times New Roman (12 point), Calibri (11 point), or Arial (11 point) font, double-spaced. Be sure to remove the extra spacing after paragraphs as MS Word inserts this automatically.

Use APA style headings, as appropriate.

Papers should include at least 6 scholarly references in addition to the textbook for this course.
