Do we owe an allegiance to our country? Think about the concept of military, is it better to have a conscription army or draft. Or imagine that ‘oiou would argue that we do owe allegiance, and thus if so, what if you lived in a country where a policy or system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race (or ethnicity) was the national law but did not agree with the segregation and oppression of the majority of people?
