Discuss, the conflict on stage looks like it is between Annabella and Soranzo, but is it actually between Annabella and G? Does G begin to distrust her here? What do we make of that?

I will attach an essay I’ve already written that has gotten feedback. This was the feedback I got “You have some interesting ideas here, but you are not pursuing them with very careful attention to the details of the text. You suggest something great in the first paragraph — the conflict on stage looks like it is between Annabella and Soranzo, but is it actually between Annabella and G? Does G begin to distrust her here? What do we make of that? Also at the start of paragraph 2 you mention G’s physical location in the scene — he’s above them. This is what I mean by a textual detail — why does Ford put him here? What is the significance of “being above”? Some of the other reading here is not really very critical — when G says he’s master of his fate, is he really? Or is this ironic? Annabella is not a maid at this point, she has had sex — maid means maiden, not servant. You come to an idea about passion v morality on page 2, but you need to look closer at how this conflict plays out in the words, images, and actions we can interpret in the scene. Through these details, what is Ford saying about “passion” or about “morality”? Has A really given up her passion for G here, or is this a staged performance for G’s benefit? You summarize a lot here, but there is much more going on in the scene subtextually that your analysis is not getting to. You need to cite your quotations properly in MLA style”
Please use my essay as a base to continue it. You can change words around etc but keep that as a base.
