Familiarize yourself with how O.Reg.137/15 General is organized by clicking on the link to the

Child Care and Early Years Act under “Resources/Weblinks”.

Step 2

Read the “Licensing Regulations Case Study” located in the assignment folder.

Step 3

In your own words, explain 8 licensing violations. Then cite the section of the Regulation that

you believe is being violated.

Example: Three children in the primary/junior group did not go outside with their teacher. This

is a violation because children must always be supervised by an adult. (O.Reg.137/15 General,

Section 11)

You identify 8 violations. 7 are correct and 1 is incorrect. You will receive 14 marks for the

You identify 8 violations. 5 are correct and 3 are incorrect. You will receive 10 marks for the

correct violations and lose 3 marks for the incorrect violations. Your mark will be 7/16 plus

marks for professional presentation.

You only identify 6 violations. All 6 are correct. Your mark will be 12/16 plus marks for

professional presentation.
