Students will fulfill the research paper writing requirement of this course by selecting a topic of their choice. Your paper should address an area where a legal issue intersects with a social or human services issue. Topics covered in the text or reading are most certainly appropriate. You will also find a folder containing other broad sample ideas on research topics that should then narrow down.
