Megan has never been out of the state where she was raised; she’s excited, but she’s also nervous about the trip, as she has heard that the destination country is very different from her own. Eduardo is an “army brat” and has lived abroad more than once. On the airplane, Eduardo and Megan get into a conversation about gifts. In the culture they will be visiting, it is a common practice to offer gifts to people, both in exchange for services and to establish a relationship for business relationships. Megan considers this behavior unethical; Eduardo does not.

Discuss whether or not the behavior is ethical and explain how you came to this conclusion.
