This is a 2 page discussion post. I have uploaded the discussion instructions and assigned readings (please use at least 2 of these as references in the paper). Some background information on me: I am currently a student in the PMHNP program. This discussion is for the class: Transforming Nursing and Healthcare Through Technology. I am a Registered Nurse at an all male prison which is a mental health camp. I am a charge nurse/mental health nurse. We are still using paper charting and have not upgraded to electronic health records. Telemed and Telepsych is utilized by by upper level providers, but not nursing staff. However from 2012 to 2106 I worked at Tift Regional Medical Center in the ER where we used McKesson then transitioned to Paragon.
