Here you will be studying various leaders throughout our Nation’s history and considering the principles of emotional intelligence in comparison to their leadership style. Be sure to carefully read the instructions below before beginning your Virtual Field Trip tour (Links to an external site.).
Virtual Field Trip Instructions:
Once you arrive, click on “Essays”
Click on “Text Only Version of this Page”
You will then see a listing of several essays on various US presidents.
After reading through several of the essays, choose two presidents and complete the following in 2-3 paragraphs:
Describe their leadership style based on the information provided in the essay.
How can their leadership styles relate to the 6 styles of Leadership from Goleman, Boyatzis, & McKee (2013), and concepts of Emotional Intelligence in your opinion?
Now, go back to the beginning of your tour. Choose, “Character Quotes”.
