Macroergonomics and Boundaries

THEME: HUMAN FACTORS

1) When designing a more effective and reliable industrial system maintenance protocol (or other application of your choosing) with complex work instructions and procedures, explain what macroergonomic factors (e.g. equipment, processes, or actions), might be considered to prevent untimely release of product or materials.

2) Also, delineate how system boundaries (e.g., various levels or contingent activities) would be addressed to assure distributed accountability for all work completed and provisions for unanticipated events.

Use real-world examples and supportive information / references, within human factors.  Does not have to be Aviation related, although its preferred. What ever is easier for the writer.
