In your essay be sure to:
1.)Define volunteerism.
2.)Discuss the significance of volunteerism.
3.)Discuss the role of volunteerism in American society.
Contextualize volunteerism in relationship to other forms of civic engagement.
4.))Make an argument about the impact of volunteerism on volunteers, those being helped, broader social systems, American civic life, or another goal of volunteerism.
Your essay should be double-spaced and should use Times New Roman 12-point font, with 1-inch margins on all sides. Be sure to proofread and edit your essay carefully. Cite all of your evidence and support from the readings in your essay using standard MLA format.
