The specific problem/research questions that the literature review defines or responds to are: What are the leading causes and consequences of childhood obesity in developed and developing countries?

The literature review will also answer the question: What are the preventative methods for this chronic illness in order to solve the problem?

Your literature review should be organized thematically. What are the main themes that you have discovered in your topic. List at least three different themes that your sources address.

The sources will address three themes: the causes, consequences, and preventative methods of childhood obesity.

What is the scope of your literature review? What is the date range of your sources? What types of sources are you using (IE, journal articles, book chapters, articles published by national or international organizations?

The literature review will cover the leading causes and consequences of childhood obesity. It will also provide preventative methods for childhood obesity to act as a solution to the problem.

The literature review will also cover the effects of this chronic illness in developed countries like The Bahamas and America and developing countries like India.

The literature review will be about 5-6 pages long using APA format, and at least ten sources will be utilized in the literature review, including citations.

The date range of each source is no more than eight years old to review more recent materials. The reviewed material will be confined to English Language only and no other languages.

The sources used will be scholarly articles, newspaper articles, and statistical data from government websites. The literature will not be broadened into other related disciplines as the research will only address the research question.
