What did you do (if anything) to try and change the unbalanced power situation?

Week three post 2

In a separate post, briefly describe a second situation in which you felt you were relatively weak, or at a lost for power.

Using the language we’ve gained this week, describe the nature and sources of the power you felt the other party enjoyed over the situation and the types of power you felt you lacked.

Did the other party apply their power in any way (in other words, actively employ it to achieve an advantage over you)? How did this affect the situation?

What did you do (if anything) to try and change the unbalanced power situation? What have you learned regarding the concept of power from this situation?

Post these in two separate posts, one describing your relatively powerful situation and another sharing your relatively powerless situation. Note each in the header (e.g., Susan Smith – ‘John Jones’ – ‘Powerless in Poughkeepsie’). make these initial 2 posts by Wednesday. In addition, reply to (at least) one posting by another student.
