The certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) administered propofol, midazolam, and fentanyl under monitored anesthesia care (MAC) to the patient.

The patient was placed in the supine position to gain appropriate access to the femoral veins; these veins were being used to thread a
catheter to the inferior vena cava into the chambers of the heart.

SUSPINE POSITION/ TO GET APPROPRIATE ACCESS TO HIS FEMORAL VEINS, THESE VEINS WERE BEING
USED TO THREAD A CATHETER TO THE INFERIOR VENA CAVA INTO THE CHAMBERS OF THE HEART.

SURGEON, REGISTER NURSED, CRNA, AND THE SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIES
