It may be described as the ultimate weapon of mass destruction This is the 21st century and America is very wealthy California alone has the 5th largest budget in the world However, for many decades millions of people in this country have lived without being able to regularly meet basic needs…food, clothing, water, housing, and healthcare.

What is the moral, social and economic costs of poverty and inequality? What can be done to break the cycle of poverty/generational poverty? What can the U.S. do better to uplift people who are living on the margins of society?
