Using the UC Library Search, track down and download the articles from your list. Skim the articles’ abstracts and introductions, and eliminate any that are not interesting or relevant to your question.

Order your pared-down list of articles by publication date and examine the citations. Do any of the more recent articles cite any of the older ones? Add any articles connected by citation to a final list. If none of your articles cite each other, pick the most interesting one and put it on your final list.

Then, skim the citations of the article(s) on your final list for titles that seem interesting and relevant. Find these articles in the UC Library Search, then skim their abstracts and introductions.

If they seem relevant, add them to your final list of articles. Add at least two articles that you found through citations.

Submit a bibliography for your final list of 6-7 articles formatted in the citation style used by your major .
