1. Select a disease or medical condition that disrupts homeostasis – the disease can be from any system from bio 226 or bio 227 -so any chapter from the e-book will be fine.
2. What system is affected or multiple systems?
3. What organs are affected by the disease?
4. What Tissue is affected by the disease?
5. What Cell is not working or affected by this disease?
6. What molecule is no longer being released from that cell?
7. Use a google picture or youtube video that is related to the disease that shows a negative feedback loop working normally.
8. Then read and do research on your disease and explain what is wrong with the negative feedback loop that leads to the disease you selected.
9. Next, select a medication or drug used by a patient to correct the aspect of the negative feedback loop that is no longer working.
