Define the challenge, the obstacles to addressing it, the approach you would take to address it, and the expected timeline for this effort.

Assignment:
In this paper you will apply concepts you have learned to a real-world leadership or organizational challenge you are observing in your professional life or to a future leadership or organizational challenge you can anticipate. Define the challenge, the obstacles to addressing it, the approach you would take to address it, and the expected timeline for this effort.

Notes and Preferences:
Of the two options, focus primarily on “…to a future leadership or organizational challenge you can anticipate.”

The “future leadership or organizational challenge” should be in international relations/management. Preferably, this should be an example in either the technology or financial industry however, if your experience is elsewhere it is fine to stick with that if you feel it would make the paper considerably better to write on your preferred field. The industry is not every important at all, however, the focus on risk management and leadership definitely is.

The anticipated challenge should be in a company either headquartered in or with operations in Southeast Asia (preferably Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or mainland China, although the exact location does not matter). The company can be real or theoretical and doesn’t necessarily have to be named, the situation itself is the focus.
