Each student needs to critically review the article within 500 words. The review must link the topics that we will cover in the class with what you see and observe in the article. You must focus on the followings (but it is not exclusive to these only):
1. Summarize the main topics covered by the author(s).
2. Summarize the main findings, arguments and conclusions of the author(s).
3. Critically assess the findings and arguments of the author(s) from your perspective.
b. The format of the review:
Ø Do not submit you work in PDF format only word format is acceptable.
Ø Write your full name and your students ID only, no cover page needed.
Ø Introduction (40-50 words) where you introduce the article and the most important arguments made by the author(s).
Ø The main body (400 words) where you highlight and discuss the main arguments and findings presented by the author(s).
Ø Critically analyze the arguments and findings made in the article.
Ø Conclusion (40-50 words) where you summarize your understanding of the article highlighting its strengths and shortcomings.
Ø One inch margins (left, right, top, and bottom)
Ø 12 point font size
Ø Arial/Time New Roman font
Ø Page numbers
c. Things that you need to focus on:
Please make notes as you read the article in light of your task.
Spend some time on your review developing the logic of your argument.
Argue clearly, but do not be over-simplistic.
Use facts.
Avoid assertions.
