Create a Positive Learning Framework Plan. The Positive Learning Framework Plan will be based on your knowledge of and reflection on various approaches to classroom management and your ownexperiences. There are five (5) sections to include in your Positive Learning Framework Plan.
Part 1: Positive Learning Framework Philosophy (700 words)
Describe your Positive Learning Framework philosophy in reference to:
The nature of children
Students’ abilities at various developmental stages
Students capacity for self-direction
How children react to different situations and treatments
The degree of control or coercion used by the teacher
The degree of choice the students are permitted
The role of the teacher
You are required to support your belief statements (why you believe what you do) with academic references and/or specific personal experience examples.
Part 2: Classroom Management Theory (250 words)
Identify a classroom management model/theory that best aligns with your philosophy.
Describe the key points of this model/theory.
Explain how the theory aligns with your philosophy.
Part 3: Positive Learning Framework Preventative Strategies (500 words)
Describe the Positive Learning Framework preventative strategies you would use in your learning environment and the reasons for using these for each of the following:
Connecting with students
Communication and directions
Classroom physical layout and resources
Expectations/rules/code of conduct
Routines and procedures
Catering for individual and diverse student needs
Strategies for involving parents/carers in your teaching and learning
Part 4: Positive Learning Framework Corrective Strategies (250 words)
Describe the Positive Learning Framework corrective strategies you would use in your learning environment and the reasons for using them.
Part 5: References
You will be required to use a minimum of six (6) unit readings to pass this assessment.
Criteria for assessment
Clearly articulated and coherent Positive Learning Framework Plan in terms of beliefs, models/theories and strategies.
Support of ideas with relevant and high-quality academic references (minimum of six different references). APA 7th-ed referencing is required.
Demonstration of reflective and critical thinking, showing an awareness of key issues in classroom management.
High standard of literacy and presentation.
