Next week, you will submit the rough draft of creative nonfiction in long-form, journalistic tradition. To do so, you will choose any historical event, in any era, and write your own compelling account of the event using descriptive vocabulary, vivid imagery, and simile and metaphor to transport the reader.
• Format: MLA • Required # of Pages: 4-5 • Other Requirements: Fact-based retelling of the event (this cannot be an example of “fake news.”)
