Briefly, each student’s speech is to be 4-5 minutes with 3:30 minimum and 5:30 maximum on a topic that (a) relates to your major, (b) is fairly general in nature, and (c)
interests you. For example, if you are a Corporate Communication major, you may have a topic regarding email
protocol for all new employees of your current place of employment. If you don’t have an organization, you can make one up. Once you determine your topic, you can specify
your audience, (e.g. new hires, finance managers, etc.). Be sure to CREDIT YOUR SOURCE(S) in the body of your presentation and follow all other directions. My major is Corporate Communications and Minor in Marketing. I was thinking of these topics so you are free to pick one, or if you find a better one you are welcome to choose. I also have a bit of knowledge in Public Relations so this can also be a major.
