The written paper should be 5 – 8 pages double-spaced. Students will write on an international and /or defense topic with national security implications. Students will play the role of a senior adviser to a domestic or foreign policy official. Students will describe a policy and recommend approval or disapproval. The objective is to further enhance critical thinking skills such as being able to distinguish between factual analysis/research and opinion.
