Learners will work individually to create a health equity profile for a local community of choice. Learners will engage in the process of identifying an existing health or health care disparity through the use of existing data sources. Learners should apply a combination of existing frameworks to document and analyze factors across multiple levels of influence. After mapping the problem, each learner should formulate their own recommendation for a public health approach that might be undertaken locally to work toward solutions. Resources will be provided for the completion of this project. All written assignments must be completed in accordance with the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Publication Manual 6th edition format.
