You have recently been hired as a consultant to help prioritize the state’s needs related to intimate partner violence. The state is in a bit of a budget crunch at the moment, and you’ll need to identify the top three priorities for spending in the area of intimate partner violence prevention and treatment. Feel free to be as creative as possible with your priorities. They may deal with the victim, perpetrator, or both. They may be education-based, mediation-based, etc. Your priorities may focus on teens or adults. They may involve victim services, law enforcement, court-based programs, correctional programs, etc. Be sure to back up your selected priorities with information from this week’s readings.
