Write a philosophy statement that reflects your attitude towards work.In writing your statement, you may want to consider some of the following issues:

· What purpose does work serve?

· Is work valuable as a means to a tangible end ex. money or does work have intrinsic value separate from money?

· Do you “work hard” or work “just enough”?

· To what degree does your work reflect your character?

· Where on your list of priorities does work fit ex. top, bottom, somewhere in the middle?You do not need to limit yourself to these topics. Write about whatever matters to you and make the statement a reflection of who you are as an employee or future employee.Your philosophy statement should be no longer than 1 page in length. Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double spaced, 1 inch margins. The only header should be your name. Cover page not needed.
