Health Care Information Technology (HCIT) offers the possibility to reduce costs, eliminate redundancies, and improve the quality of health care. Select three of the goals in the Federal Health IT Strategic Plan: 2015 – 2020, and describe the goal, what it is expected to accomplish, how it is related to improving health care system, and what evidence there is that the health care system has or has not improved due to each goal.
