An important point for practice is to understand the influence of social media on our patients; and our role in helping them to find evidence-based resources. Consider the following question and use them to reflect on the role of social media in healthcare. What does the current evidence say about the influence of social media on patients’ decisions? What are examples of effective use of social medial to translate evidence into behaviour change?
