Assignment for Business Writing

Business writing requires that you become well-versed in several genres (good news, bad news, business proposal, business plan/prospectus), styles (direct and indirect language), and formats (letters, memos, reports). This week, we will reflect on the business prospectus that you’ve been working on over the last several weeks.
First, provide a brief overview of your business idea for your fellow classmates.
Then, reflect on the overall experience so far, including your thoughts about the writing that’s been required of you so far (whether positive or not). Some questions to consider include:
Have you worked on a large-scale writing project like this before? If so, when/where and has that experience helped you with this assignment? What is your usual writing process like? How has the required multi-stage drafting process affected your usual process? Do you think that this assignment would have been easier or less daunting if it were a group project? Why or why not?
