Ethics Breach
Your regional HIM association has enlisted a speaker on privacy and security based on the presentation experience listed on her resume. Immediately after the presentation, several members approach you to say they are certain that today’s presentation was exactly the same one that they had attended at the state association meeting two years ago given by a different speaker. Assess the implications for this individual if she breached ethical standards by passing off someone else’s work as her own.
