1. What is the organizational structure of Congress? What are the leadership position in both houses, and what are their functions. First, describe the positions, then google and find out who currently holds these positions.
2. Choose either the US Representative for the district in which you live or go to college or one of your US Senators and do some research. Discuss his/her background, education, characteristics of his district, committees he/she serves on, and the bills that he/she has sponsored. (Use Midland, TX as the district.)
