Ethics in Homeland Security class
This week, we discuss wrongful convictions and ethical, or unethical, the conduct of the government.

Your reading makes it seem as if you should pick a case from Guantanamo.The discussion says, “..what should the government have done to rectify the issues?” Was their unethical conduct? Or what ethical conduct could have made the situation right? It’s possible they were acting in good faith, but later learned of information that could point toward the person’s innocence. Ethically, what is the government’s responsibility here?
You can choose any case, not just something from Guantanamo. Mention something about ethics though. Here are a few articles that may help you get started:
