Religious Diversity Paper
The second paper is a reflection on your own experience with religious diversity. Describe an encounter you have had with a religion other than your own. It could be a conversation with a friend, neighbor, or family member, a visit or field trip to a religious community, attendance at a worship service or a rite of passage (like a wedding, memorial service etc.).
What did you learn from the encounter? What was similar to your own religious tradition/experience and what was different? Did anything surprise you? Finally, did this encounter change your own understanding of religion and/or religious diversity?
