What are the most important factors for counselors to consider when referring a client for group therapy or admitting a client into an established group? Should a client ever be completely excluded from a group therapy modality of treatment? If so, in what circumstance would exclusion be most appropriate?
Additionally, the importance of the family as a support system in the treatment of addictions has been well established.
