Association claim
Search the internet to find an example of an association claim (it shouldn’t be too difficult to find many!). First (A), summarize the claim (include a working hyperlink) and then (B) ‘interrogate’ that claim by asking and answering the questions presented in this module:
Is there covariance of cause and effect?
Is there temporal precedence?
Is there internal validity?
Finally (C), does the source of your claim suggest a causal connection? Why is this appropriate or inappropriate given your analysis? That is, what is required to make a causal inference? Discuss.
