Discussion Question 1 – CLO 1, CLO 2 Most computing environments, even most home computers, will have a choice of editors. Explore your particular situation and make a list of all the editors you have to choose from.
However, be careful not to confuse any word processor you might have with an editor.
A word processor will put characters into your file that you cannot see and that will cause you no end of trouble when you are preparing a simple text file, or a file of HTML markup. You want an editor, not a word processor. On Windows, for example, Notepad is an editor, while WordPad is a (very simple) word processor. So, you should not use WordPad for writing HTML, and though you could use Notepad, there are much better alternatives.
Research which editor might be the best choice for creating web pages.
