KSA
Introduction and Alignment
What skills and abilities do leaders need to evaluate technology solutions? It is often misunderstood that you need to be a technical expert or an information technology director. The truth is a leader doesn’t need to be an IT director or a technical expert to lead an organization through technology decisions. This reflection will focus on what it takes to lead in these situations and reflect on your own skills and abilities.
Upon completion of this assignment, you should be able to:
Reflect on your skills and abilities to evaluate with new technologies.
Assignment Instructions
Research the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) of a leader. Identify the KSAs that relate directly to the evaluation of technology.
Write a 1-2 page reflection on the KSAs that you identify from the research. Discuss your experience with the KSAs you have identified that directly relate to evaluating technology. Have you incorporated them into your leadership? Do you have what it takes to lead a technology solution evaluation plan? Why? or Why not?
