What is the impact of motivation on the productivity of employee in an organization?

Upon my education, previous courses and work experience the topic I chose for my research paper is Employee Motivation and Impact on Productivity. The topic of staff motivation and its impact on employee productivity is of great interest to me. I have worked for several companies in the past and the staff motivation is an area of opportunity for all of them. I now work for a corporation where staff motivation is top priory. As the corporation understands that employee motivation is a critical aspect at the workplace. While working for these other companies I felt discouraged, tired and with no motivation, I had no goals or aspirations. Just like me them were several other team members who also felt this way. When having a group of individuals with no motivation the productivity will be severally impacted. If employees do not produce the organization will start noticing the loses very quickly. Throughout my education I have taken several leadership and management courses that have thought me how to be an effective leader. In my opinion these organizations did not have the right individuals to lead a team effectively. Which is why I believe this research paper and presentation will allow me to demonstrate the importance of employee motivation at the workplace. Motivating employees needs to be a regular routine in order to have a proactive organization. to conclude my research questions is the following. What is the impact of motivation on the productivity of employee in an organization?
